Web Developer (Georgia)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

Take briefs for potential projects and provide informed guidance to internal clients on options available to them in the design and functionality process
Design and develop websites
Design and develop Flash-based interactive content
Design and develop templates for use in Amaxus Content Management System (training provided)
Develop XSL CSS coding for Amaxus system templates and modules (training provided)
Report on work activity and provide regular progress reports to Group Web Services Manager
Liaise with colleagues and strategic web partners to ensure the satisfactory day-to-day running of our various portals

Extensive web and Flash development experience
Evidence of expertise in PHP, XSL, XSLT, XML, CSS, MySQL, HTML plus XHTML
Successful implementation of high-quality web and Flash-based projects (portfolio of past and current work required)
Effective communication skills with the ability and experience of providing written project proposals and progress reports
Good interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with internal clients with a professional and polite demeanor, and negotiate and influence as appropriate
Proven ability to prioritize workload, delivering to deadlines, and managing several projects at once
Ability to review data and materials to ensure accuracy and quality of service of own work, and that of others
Ability to use own initiative and anticipate obstacles not obvious to others
Ability to grasp instructions/requirements quickly and accurately
