Why is it internet based?

By providing the course materials and subjects online you are able to complete the courses at your leisure. You are even able to save your work and go back to it at a time that suits you and your classroom!

Does this replace face-to-face training?

No. Promethean Learning courses are designed to be an integral part of a professional development program which includes both online and face-to-face components.

What are the prices for these courses?

The Level 1 Foundation Courses are free of charge.  Pricing for the other courses are available on the Promethean Learning site.

Are the courses self-paced?

Level 1 courses are self paced. Levels 2 and 3 are moderated, have a set start and end time, and typically run 6 weeks.

Are the courses mentored?

Level 1 courses are self paced and not mentored.  Levels 2 and 3 are moderated, have a set start and end time, and typically run 6 weeks.

Can teachers get CEU's/PLU's upon completion of Promethean Learning courses?

As states and/or districts have varying requirements for approving and receiving CEU/PLU credits, complete course information (including estimated time to complete and course syllabus) will be provided so that you can submit the course materials to your authorizing agency for approval prior to taking the course.
