Certification Levels

With the launch of Promethean Learning, we are able to offer on-line training to three certification levels depending on your proficiency using the Activboard and software.

Level 1 - Professional User

These courses are self-paced, include interactive tutorials and assessments, and typically take about 5 hours each to complete. Courses will include:

• Activstudio Foundation Skills Course
• Activprimary Foundation Skills Course
• Activstudio Advanced Skills Course
• Activprimary Advanced Skills Course

Level 2 - Curriculum Developer  

Choice of Activprimary or Activstudio: Our level 2 courses continue to develop your skills with the software. The main emphasis, however, is on good classroom practice. These courses are moderated, typically last 6 weeks, and should take about 30 hours to complete.

 

Level 3 - Training & Resource Developer

Our level 3 courses are aimed at experienced users who want to share their skills and best practices with others. For this course, it is assumed that teachers have already achieved level 1 and level 2 certification.
