Deputy Chief Executive Officer - Paul Pickup

Paul joined Promethean in 1978 and has since progressed through various positions within the company.

Paul has supervised the Operations team through extensive growth and advanced the Manufacturing capabilities from producing 500 systems in 1999 to 35,350 systems in 2005.

In 2002 Paul took over responsibility for the Promethean Installations team as they experienced tremendous growth in the number of installs. From 3,000 in 2002 to 17,000 in 2004, the Installations department has accommodated installs from locations as diverse as Salford to Singapore.

Additionally as Director of Operations, Paul is in charge of Manufacturing, Installations and Customer Quality Services. In January 2004 Paul was appointed to the position of Managing Director to Promethean PRC, the groups ‘Wholly Owned Foreign Enterprise’ in Shenzhen, China.

Paul has a wealth of manufacturing and operations experience behind him having been employed in the logistic and operations field for over 27 years.

Paul has also gained his CIPS and Minstmgt (Corporate member of the Institute of Management) diploma after studying part-time at Blackburn College UK.
