e-Learning Foundation
The e-Learning Foundation was established in 2001 to help reduce the 'digital divide', by ensuring all children have access to the learning resources that technology enables, both at home and in schools.
Managing a £5 million project on behalf of the Department of Education and Skills, the e-learning foundation assists in the provision of ICT for schoolchildren as part of the government's 'Wired up Communities' initiative.
Promethean have been invited to work closely with the e-Learning Foundation to provide a number of schools with interactive whiteboard technology. Through this initiative, schools will benefit from the wide range of systems and initiatives which Promethean provides as standard.
